As christians today we go through many trials and face many hardships. Much of us are in financial debt or have a physical illness of some sort . Some may be facing evictions and others may have recently been fired from a job or even in the process of trying to find one. Many don’t even know how they are going to pay their rent at the end of the month. All of us have some sort of trial that we are going through and all of us to one degree or another struggle with sin. Read more …

Western society is currently trying to legislate away, ban and repress Christianity. No bibles in schools, hotels, hospitals, no 10 commandments to be hung on the walls of public buildings, religious vilification laws that attempt to stop Christians speaking out on what is true and right.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
Laws banning and repressing Christianity effectively ban and repress the fruit of the Spirit. Do we want to ban love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance?
The next PYV Camp is North Camp, held on Friday, 21st September, Sunday, 23rd September at Crystal Creek Christian Camp, Alexandra. This is the second out of our three new regional camps we are running this year.
North Camp is aimed more specifically to cater for young people between the ages of 12-21 from churches within the presbyteries of northern Melbourne and Victoria.
Online camp registrations have opened on the PYV website, pyv.org.au and will close on Sunday, 9th September 2012. Downloadable registration forms can also be found on the North Camp page the PYV website.
